In the third quarter of 2025, the maps and navigation app market in Ghana saw significant activity, with noteworthy trends in downloads and active users across leading applications. Sensor Tower's data provides a comprehensive overview of the performance of these apps on a unified platform.

Bolt: Request a Ride experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, beginning with approximately 17.8K downloads in early July and peaking at around 33K by mid-September. Active user numbers also showed a positive trend, growing from 258K to 281K over the quarter.

The Bolt Driver: Drive & Earn app had a varied download performance, starting at 8.1K and declining to about 5.1K by the end of September. However, active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 50K throughout the quarter.

Yango: taxi, food, delivery displayed a positive trend in downloads, beginning at 8.1K and reaching 11.5K by the end of the quarter. Active user numbers remained stable, hovering around the 68K mark.
